Come Sit With Me

Not many of us bother with those forwarded emails from gullible people believing bad luck will follow them unless they forward to others. I received this particular forwarded email from a friend who is very down to earth, intelligent, and stable. The subject title, "Come Sit With Me" intrigued me and the contents resonated  on every level of my being.  I hope this message inspires you and blesses you with its wisdom, love, and happiness bringing thanksgiving into each and every day.

 Come Sit With Me

There comes a time in your life, when you walk away from
all the drama and people who create it.
You surround yourself with people who make you laugh.
Forget the bad and focus on the good.
Love the people who treat you well, pray for the ones who don’t.
Life is too short to be anything but happy.
Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living.

“Today may there be peace within.
May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born in yourself and others.
May you use the gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you.
May you be content with yourself just the way you are.
Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.  It is there for each and every one of us.”

Time Travel Model of Quantum Mechanics

By Jay Shelton

The Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics is baffling, while the many-worlds interpretation is unrealistic. The time travel model attempts to provide a comprehensible explanation.

In this model we assume that the presence of a particle causes vibrations in the time coordinate of spacetime. The wave function may be identified with the amplitude of these temporal vibrations. The square of the wave function is proportional to the strength of these vibrations and gives the likelihood of finding a particle in the vicinity.

The time waves at present overlap the time waves of a moment ago, and so on, so that a particle becomes spread out over all the spacetime between the last interaction and all possible points of the next interaction. If a particle's time coordinate is uncertain, its position and momentum are also uncertain.

When an interaction occurs, the particle is no longer available for time travel and the wave function collapses backward in time to the point of the last interaction. Since we cannot observe the past, the collapse appears instantaneous. The collapse is itself not observable, so nothing observable changes in the past.

The Schrodinger equation states that the frequency of temporal vibration is proportional to the energy. Its complex nature is a mathematical way of describing vibrations. The many-dimensional nature of the wave function is a consequence of the Hamiltonian formulation. There is no implication that the world is actually complex or many dimensional.

The relativity of simultaneity causes a uniform vibration to become a traveling wave when seen from a moving coordinate system, which is why the momentum is obtained by taking the spatial derivative of the wave function.

The antisymmetric Fermi statistics of the wave function under exchange of a pair of identical fermions is a way of stating that the particles cannot occupy the same space at the same time. If all fundamental particles are spin one-half rishon fermions, then the symmetric Bose statistics are simply obtained by exchanging rishons two pairs at a time.

Let us consider two classic examples. In the two-slit experiment, a particle may go through one slit, then back in time, then through the other slit. In the case of two quantum entangled particles, when one is observed, the wave function for that orientation collapses backward in time, leaving only the wave function for the opposite orientation.

If a time wave curved around into a circle much smaller than its wavelength, the entire whirl would appear to oscillate back and forth in time. The whirl could not dissipate due to conservation of energy and angular momentum, or other quantum numbers. We suggest that these whirls are in fact the rishons. It is also a law of nature that a rishon cannot disappear unless it meets its antirishon. This model explains how a particle can produce time waves: particles simply are trapped time waves.

The observed intrinsic spin of a rishon is far greater than what could be possessed by a small rotating mass. In our model, the internal rotational phase velocity of the time waves may be much greater than the speed of light, since no information is conveyed. This may explain how a rishon can have a large angular momentum but little mass. Since a rishon is a cloud of time waves, it would have eigenstates of angular momentum. When its angular momentum (or energy) is measured, one would always find it to be an eigenstate, in accord with general principles of quantum mechanics. This cannot be understood if a rishon is viewed as a point particle.

The V rishon may be the lowest possible energy state, while the T rishon may be the highest possible energy state, perhaps because the phase velocity has slowed down to the speed of light. Any slight instability would cause intermediate states to gain or lose energy and move toward one extreme or the other. This may explain why there are just two stable rishons, light and heavy. The bare mass may be much larger than the observed mass, due to renormalization. Unfortunately it is not known how to calculate this, so hard numbers cannot be given.

The large spin of a rishon eliminates the spherically symmetric S states, leaving the three P states to correspond with the three colors. The T rishon constantly emits and absorbs a cloud of V anti-V particles, corresponding with gluons and photons as the pair carries net color or not. The V rishon does not have enough mass to do this. The weak force arises from the transfer of a group of rishons, the W particle. Small temporal vibrations of a particle could be considered quantum gravity, which might help stabilize the particle. These vibrations might also cause a large-scale distortion of spacetime, similar to thermal expansion. We would perceive this distortion as classical gravity. The Planck equation simply states that this distortion, which we call gravity, mass, or energy is proportional to the frequency of a particle.

A rishon might have a polar temporal field caused by the circular motion of time waves, analogous to a magnetic field. Particles would be ejected preferentially along the direction of this field, because time flows in that direction, thus violating parity. The temporal field would be aligned with or against the direction of external time, corresponding to rishons or antirishons. Because of the time difference, the two would have slightly different reaction rates, producing an excess of hydrogen over antihydrogen, which have the same rishonic content. The photon and gluon are symmetric with respect to matter and antimatter, but the W is not, so only the weak force violates parity.

Time dilation and the relativity of simultaneity are features of special relativity, while in general relativity mass influences the flow of time and gravitational radiation consists in part of time waves. Therefore our concept of time waves has some precedent. Quantum mechanics and general relativity both describe disturbances of spacetime and together provide a complete picture. Everything can be explained as waves, whirls, or bends in spacetime.

When a particle interacts, it stops time-travelling into the past, because the coherence of the time waves is broken. The wave function collapses, or disappears, backward in time. It is as though the wave function never existed at all, so it vanishes instantaneously in all frames, in agreement with the fundamental principle of relativity, that there is no preferred frame.

In the rishon model, all neutral matter has equal amounts of T and anti-T rishons. Under sufficient pressure, theses would be forced together and annihilate, so matter would convert to photons or neutrinos and escape before a naked singularity could form, or in a big crunch.

The collapse of a wave function is an irreversible process, so quantum mechanics does not conserve information, in a black hole, or anywhere else. Gravity is a curvature of spacetime, so the need for gravitons is questionable.

In the rishon model, a photon consists of a V anti-V pair, so, like the neutrino, it might have a small rest mass.

If the wavelength of a rishon's internal time wave is smaller than the rishon, the rishon would still oscillate in time, but in a more complicated way, perhaps giving rise to the effects associated with spin.

The P states mentioned above are conjectured to be states of intrinsic spin having spin one-half.

The photon and vector bosons have different masses because they are made of different rishons. Symmetry breaking is not needed.

Particles are disturbances in spacetime and according to general relativity would therefore have mass. The Higgs mechanism is not needed.

It would be of great interest to discover and study the equations which govern the structure of the rishons.

Brainwave Entrainment - Convergence of Science and Shamanism

By Timothy Thorpe

Brainwave entrainment is a method of using audio or visual stimulus to cause the human brainwave pattern to synchronize with a desired frequency.  This is achieved through a natural phenomenon known as the 'frequency following response' whereby the brain naturally synchronizes with any external repeating pattern.  One of the most ancient examples of brainwave entrainment is the use of drum beats - a very simple method of creating a repeating stimulus.

Brainwave patterns within the brain are created by the electrical activity of billions of neurons.  This electrical activity can be measured as a frequency in Hertz (Hz) - much the same as any other electrical current or signal.  When measured, this brainwave frequency tells us much about the current mental, emotional and physical activity of any individual.  These frequencies are categorized into four main groups; Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta, each of which represents a very different mental state.

Beta:  Set between the frequency ranges of 14Hz to 30Hz.  Beta frequency designates an alert and active state of consciousness, and is the dominate frequency during waking hours.
Alpha:  Found during waking consciousness whilst relaxed or with closed eyes.  Alpha general represents slowed mental and / or visual activity.  The frequency range is 8Hz - 14Hz.
Theta:  4Hz - 8Hz is found during REM Sleep, theta is also an active frequency during meditative and trance states.  In addition, theta waves a frequently found in children and ebb off after 10 years and into adulthood.
Delta:  The frequency of deep sleep, at a frequency range of 1Hz - 4Hz.  Delta is not usually found whilst in the waking state, although is sometimes found during very deep meditations of those with extensive meditative experience.

Further categories of brainwave frequencies also exist, one of the most common and well known is the Gamma Frequency, which exists above Beta at a frequency of 31Hz+.  Little is scientifically known about the Gamma frequency, however some theories suggest it may be related to subjective perception.  Other more esoteric fields suggest that the Gamma frequency is related to a 'Super Consciousness', higher awareness or even transcendental states not unlike those found in Zen Buddhist meditations, and similar practices.

Another, slightly lesser known frequency is the Epsilon Frequency, which is found below 1Hz.  A frequency range of 0.5Hz has shown to provide some degree of pain relief.  As it is below the Delta frequency, individuals synchronizing with the Epsilon Frequency will more often than not fall asleep.

Public Interest

Brainwave entrainment first came into popular public interest during the 1970's with the much used, but often ridiculed Mind Machines.  Essentially a pair of goggles containing embedded lights, which flickered at a pre-set rate.  The pace of flickering would determine the frequency, to which the user's brainwaves would become synchronized simply by watching the lights.  In many ways this kick-started the consumerization of the various forms of self-hypnosis.

In 1978 Robert Monroe founded the Monroe Institute, which conducts research and provides training programs on altered states of consciousness.  Brainwave entrainment is used among the Monroe Institute's methods, using the Hemi-Sync technology that Robert Monroe patented in 1975, which contains an evolution of the binaural beats technology.  Since then Hemi-Sync has become somewhat of an industry standard within the brainwave entrainment commercial marketplace.   The Hemi-Sync products are widely recognised and respected.

In more recent years, brainwave entrainment has taken alternative health circles by storm.  The Centerpointe Foundation, provide a program known as Holo-Sync designed to promote emotional healing and stability.

Another direction has been taken by Brainwave-Sync, who promotes a holistic ideology based upon traditional shamanic principles.  Their product range covers personal development and self-discovery, following the belief that inner strength and awareness bring about a deeper understanding of the world.

Research

Over the past few decades a number of institutes and organizations have been involved in brainwave entrainment research.  By their very nature, the study of brainwaves form a vital component of neurology.  For example in a 1998, a study of brainwaves in rats was conducted by the McMaster University of Canada.   In 2005, David E. Stuckey - from the California Institute of Integral Studies - conducted field research on the Brazilian shaman vine known as Ayahuasca, an intoxicating hallucinogenic.  From this research he determined precise brainwave frequencies active during states of altered consciousness.

Brainwave entrainment research is also ongoing in the business world.  The Transparent Corporation could perhaps be considered a chief proponent of the brainwave entrainment methodology and is certainly an expert in the field.  Using both neurofeedback and biofeedback , The Transparent Corporation research fuels ongoing development of brainwave entrainment software, which continues to be used by medical professionals and therapists all over the world.

Everyday uses for Brainwave Entrainment

Outside of corporate and scientific interests, brainwave entrainment has found a growing market with the home user.  The technology affords the individual with many alternatives to existing therapies and practices.  All of the following are scientifically accepted uses for brainwave entrainment, and in many cases are often prescribed by medical practitioners and therapists.

Sleep Induction - a Cure for Insomnia:  Deep sleep generally occurs between a brainwave frequency of 1Hz and 4Hz.  By using audio, music or sound with an embedded frequency of this range, when synchronization occurs with the brainwave sleep will be induced.
Anxiety and Stress Relief:  Evidence suggests that high mental and emotional activity as found during moments of stress or anxiety prompt high levels of beta activity.  Entraining the brainwaves down to alpha or even theta, can have the effect of anxiety and stress relief.
Relaxation:  Alpha brainwave frequencies are commonly found during relaxed and semi-relaxed states.  Naturally brainwave entrainment encoded into the alpha frequency often provides high levels of relaxation.
Meditation:  Theta frequencies and alpha brainwave frequencies are conducive towards very effective meditation.  Both slow the brainwave functions down to a level which ensures a relaxed physical and mental state.

Beyond Everyday Use: Self and Personal Development

Brainwave entrainment is often used to push the envelope beyond that of typical everyday experiences.  Most of these uses have also been confirmed within a scientific environment through the use of neurofeedback and biofeedback.

Hypnagogic States:   Hypnagogia is that brief state between wakefulness and sleep, where fleeting imagery forms before the eyes.  The theta frequency may be used to induce prolonged states of hypnagogia.
Hallucination:  Related to the states of hypnagogic, are states of hallucination.  Heightened theta and alpha activity are often recorded during such experiences.
Lucid Dreaming:  At one time thought to be a perceived trick of the subjective senses, lucid dreaming - being aware one is dreaming, and even consciously controlling dreams - is now accepted as fact and fairly well understood.  By entraining brainwaves into the delta frequency, sleep is induced.  Random spikes of theta activity may then be prompted during deep sleep - which in turn can lead to conscious dreaming.

Theoretical uses for Brainwave Entrainment

In many ways The Monroe Institute pioneered and the pushed the boundary of what is possible with brainwave entrainment.  Founder Robert Monroe was a very experienced individual with altered states of conscious, which he was able to attain through effort of will.  He documented some of these experiences in his book "Journeys out of the Body".  Later the Monroe Institute facilities were used by the US Military for parapsychological training.

In the Far East, transcendental meditations are adopted by practices such as Yoga and Zen Buddhism amongst others.  Whilst in a transcendental state, one is lifted outside the boundaries of normal everyday consciousness.   This is achieved through years of personal discipline and extensive participation in meditative techniques.

Altered states of consciousness are also heavily involved with the shamanic practices of Brazil and Peru.  Most often these are used to gain deep personal insight, as well as attain mental and physical healing.

Brainwave entrainment has been used within all of these fields, to stimulate similar affects.  Out of Body Experiences, Chakra meditations, Kundalini meditations and even astral travel are some of the far reaching effects brainwave entrainment lays claim to.  There is indeed much anecdotal evidence to suggest that brainwave entrainment certainly is capable of these feats and more.

Shamanism, Consciousness and Brainwave Entrainment

Shamanism in one form or another extends back to the dawn of humankind.  The term shaman is much misunderstood; in essence a shaman is one whom is able to navigate through the subjective nature of their particular society in order to perceive the world in its natural state.  This is achieved by entering into altered states of consciousness, which are then used to help the participant see beyond their individual subjective belief system.  It is no stretch of the imagination to say that brainwave entrainment may also be used for this exact same purpose.

Shamanism in many cases, uses hallucinogenic means in order to enter altered states. However, this is not always necessarily the case; other shamanic cultures have used sound in order to stimulate altered states of consciousness.  References abound within modern literature and movies depicting such tribal scenes.  Brainwave entrainment is a modern evolution of this technique, which has been combined with scientific and neurological understanding.

Even in its base form, the objective of brainwave entrainment is to alter the state of one's consciousness, be it from an anxious state altered into relaxed, or an awake alert state altered into sleep.  At its current outer limits, brainwave entrainment - through skilled use - can project the individual into deeply profound states of consciousness.

A convergence of sorts has occurred between the ancient shamanic practices and the modern scientific disciplines.  This convergence has gone largely unnoticed, yet it can be seen within the brainwave entrainment community, and the number of products that are designed to allow the user to enter states such as lucid dreaming, as well as visionary and hypnagogic experiences.  This convergence between science and the esoteric is perhaps marked best by the frequency of 528Hz which is used in the repair of DNA.  The very same frequency of 528Hz forms one of the six frequencies of the solfeggio scale.  Specifically, over one thousand years ago, this exact frequency was used by the Church for healing.

Brainwave Entrainment - a Modern Shaman Practice

Although brainwave entrainment is used extensively within established scientific and medical fields, its growth within the consumer sector has been primarily down to individuals involved with holistic and alternative living.  The growth in interest of subjects like meditation, lucid dreaming and alternative healing are a direct reflection of this.

Taken to the next step, brainwave entrainment may very well represent the arrival of shamanic practices within modern society, yet with a modern twist.  Each brainwave entrainment enthusiast or practitioner is willing to explore their consciousness for themselves.  Where as in tribal cultures a shaman was required to direct these experiences, in the modern world tools have been handed to the individual that enable them to explore their consciousness on their own terms.

This is a fact which has been recognised by Brainwave-Sync who continues to establish themselves as providers of brainwave entrainment aimed at individuals with holistic and alternative interests.

Brainwave entrainment in many ways represents the blending of technology with consciousness.  This could perhaps be viewed as the first time technology has reached such a state.  With correct use and skilled practice the brainwave entrainment technology is more than capable of leading an individual on a quest of personal, spiritual and self development.

From this perspective, such use of brainwave entrainment could represent a change within the very roots of society; the individual.  With even a small percentage of the population arriving at the possibility of full self awareness, along with the comprehension of their own subjective belief-systems, there is little to doubt about what brainwave entrainment has the power to achieve.  Traditional life changing methods have required extensive financial investment as well as substantial amounts of time.  Brainwave entrainment has changed this, allowing for ease of access to unique personal and spiritual experiences.

Brainwave entrainment provides a doorway into the consciousness, and does so in a deeply personal and creative manner; it opens up realms of the mind which are only just being scientifically discovered.

What Are the Vibrations Or What is the Frequency of Wealth?

By Nancy Stremmel

Do My Brainwaves Affect My Frequency?

Many people wonder about the relationship between brainwave entrainment and Law of Attraction frequency. When we meditate, our brainwaves lower their frequency to low Alpha (best for relaxed focus and concentration) or Theta(best for dreaming, lucid dreaming or manifesting). With the use of a brainwave generator or binaural beats, we can achieve conscious Delta which is the brainwave that allows us to access the collective unconscious. (Without training and practice, it is not possible to stay conscious while in Delta.)

The best brainwaves for manifesting seem to be lower frequencies than normal. So, how is it that most teachers suggest raising your frequency in order to synchronize with the frequency of wealth?

Our brainwaves affect our thought patterns, not our overall frequency. It is useful to alter these thought patterns to bi-pass our Egos on a daily basis. This allows connection with our Super Conscious or Higher Minds. Some people find it easier to do this initially with binaural beats, but studies of long term meditators, Silva Method students or remote viewers shows that they can learn to quickly lower their brainwaves without help from a brainwave entrainment device.

Once we bi-pass our Egos, we are able to directly communicate with Divinity/Source or our Spirit Guides. This raises our overall frequency, which is different from our brainwave frequency. The lowest personal frequencies are those of shame, fear or hatred. The highest is that of enlightenment.

Our Emotional Frequencies

This is the frequency that affects the Law of Attraction. The low frequencies keep us solid and dense. At the highest frequencies we are light and luminescent. David Hawkins in Power vs Force gave his calibrations for human emotions from 20 to 1000.

At 20 (shame) our immune system is weak and we are prone to physical illness. The other end, 700 to 1000, is estimated to be the level of Krishna, Buddha and Jesus. The earth is affected by the frequencies or the energy levels of all of us, and we are affected by the overall frequency of the whole. Princeton's Global Consciousness Project monitored a significant worldwide negative blip just before the first plane struck on 9/11/2001. It also noticed a significant worldwide positive blip the day of Barack Obama's inauguration.

Frequencies below 200 are energy draining of anyone nearby and of the earth. This would include guilt (30), grief (75), fear (100) and pride (175). At those frequencies, you would not be able to manifest consciously. You would be bringing more guilt, grief, fear and pride into the world. The first positive emotion is courage (200). Courageous people are exploring and determined and put back as much into the world as they take.

More positively we have willingness (310), acceptance (350) and love (500) and peace (600). At these levels one has true happiness and is able to manifest abundantly. David Hawkins estimates that one individual at 300 counterbalances 90,000 individuals below level 200. Level 600 (peace) counterbalances 10,000,000 individuals below 200!

What frequency is the best for wealth?

You will find the match for what you desire. We have found that living in the positive allows us to create more of what we desire. This does not mean that we never have anything go wrong, but we are easily able to jump over any impediment. Often it turns out that these hurtles were there to move us in a more fruitful direction, or to teach us something that we would need to know in the near future. In the positive emotions, you have absolute trust in the Universe.

Once you have successfully attained these positive frequencies, you are able to generate far more good than bad in your life and in the lives of those in your environment and in the world.

So, use the brainwave frequencies to help you meditate, and the meditation to help you achieve a higher personal or emotional frequency.

The Eternal Mystery of the Great Pyramids

Expert Author Robert W Stewart
By Robert W Stewart

Often in my life I have wondered about the great pyramids of Egypt. Whenever I saw photos or watched documentaries about them they seemed like they were out of place, not part of the particular time that they were built. The long accepted theory was the ancient Egyptians built the pyramids, with a work force of thousands, and 20 or so years of effort. I have always found it hard to believe that the ancient Egyptians constructed them, given the nature of the technology available at that time in history. To build structures such as the pyramids with such precision would require far more sophisticated tools then the ancients had 4,000 years ago.

Zahi Hawass, the famous Egyptologist and former curator of antiquities has often scoffed at ideas that the pyramids were constructed by extraterrestrials or by a super civilization in ancient history. However the evidence points to the contrary. It seems unlikely with the technology that the ancient Egyptians had, that such structures as the pyramids could have been built in 20 years or so.

Quarrying, cutting, transporting and inserting these massive stone blocks weighing many tons would require tools equal to that of today's technology.

If we accept the unlikely theory that the pyramids were constructed using available Egyptian technology of 4,000 years ago- a new question arises. Why would the Egyptians do something so incredibly difficult, taking thousands of men, many years just to build a tomb? Maybe it was not so difficult after all if they had some help, possibly from other beings not of this earth.

Maybe the pyramids were something much more than that. Maybe they were a kind of monument to the stars. Maybe they were constructed with extraterrestrials in mind. The alignment of the 3 main pyramids on the Giza plain corresponds exactly to the alignment of the stars in the "belt" of the constellation Orion.Furthermore, it was found that the air shafts inside the pyramid were pointing directly at the constellation Orion itself. Possibly the Egyptians wanted to point the soul of the Pharaoh to that place in the heavens. Why that particular location in the sky?

I have read books by the famous psychic Edgar Cayce. He stated in his writings that the great pyramids of Giza are at least 12,000 years old. He further stated that the pyramids were constructed not by the Egyptians, but by the survivors of the continent of Atlantis. Cayce believed that the continent of Atlantis sank into the Atlantic ocean in a great cataclysm. The survivors fled to Egypt among other places and constructed the pyramids as a lasting monument to the Atlantean culture. Cayce also predicted that a vast library is underground directly under the Sphinx- a hall of records of the history of Atlantis. This record library is waiting to be discovered when man is ready to understand the knowledge it contains.

A few years ago on the Discovery channel, explorer Josh Bernstein raised these very same questions on his television show- Digging for the Truth. He gave convincing arguments for both theories of the construction of the pyramids. On his show, a fascinating theory was raised. The theory being that the ancient Egyptians were merely doing renovations on much older structures, on pre-existing pyramids dating back thousands of years earlier.

Perhaps the question will never be answered. Maybe it will be forever open to debate, or maybe, convincing evidence will be found to prove one theory or the other.

To find out the real truth about the pyramids would go a long way in solving a major piece of the jigsaw puzzle of mankind's pre-history on earth.

Who Were The Tuatha De Danann? A Brief Look at Gaelic Mythology

Dunluce Castle Antrim Coast

By Dana Michelle Burnett Platinum Quality Author

As a writer, I try to include a grain of truth even in my fiction tales. I love looking at ancient superstitions and mythology for my inspiration. While researching my Gypsy Fairy Tale series, I came across stories of the Tuatha De Danann, the supernatural creatures that were the first to rule Ireland. So who was this supernatural group? Read on to learn about them and their surprising connection to the modern day.
The name Tuatha De Danann is usually translated as "the tribe of the goddess Danu" or the earlier name Tuath De translates as "tribe of the gods". By either name, this group of people are said to be a supernaturally-gifted race that represented the main deities of pre-Christian Gaelic Ireland. They were the cornerstone of Irish mythology and usually depicted as kings, queens, and heros of the distant past. It was said that they were the first rulers of Ireland and were once even worshiped as gods.
They were descended from Nemed, leader of the previous inhabitants of Ireland. They came to Ireland in dark clouds and landed on the mountains, other stories have them arriving in boats that they burned so that it would be believed that they arrived in a cloud of mist.
Following their king, Nuada, the they fought many battles to secure their reign of Ireland including the First Battle of Magh Tuireadh where Nuada lost an arm. The arm was replaced by a working silver one and he was declared king. A spell was recieted and over the course of nine days and nine nights, flesh grew over the prosthesis. Alas, Nuada was killed in the Second Battle of Magh Tuireadh by the Fomorian king's poisonous eye, but the Tuatha De were still victorious and the champion Lugh took over as king.
It was the third battle, against invaders called the Milesians (or sons of Mil), that sealed their fate. The three kings of the Tuathe De Danann asked for a truce of three days between themselves and the invaders and asked that the Milesians would anchor nine waves' distance from the shore. They complied. The Tuathe De Danann created a magical storm in hopes of driving them away, but the Milesian poet Amergin calmed the sea and the invaders were able to return to shore and defeat the great Tuatha De Danann. The poet then divided the land between the two forces, allotting the portion above the ground to the Milesians and the portion underground to the Tuatha De Danann.
So, condemed to roam the underground, they retreated under the Sidhe mounds. Over the centuries they were closely tied to stories of fairies and other enchantments. They were said to be the keepers of the four treasures which were The Dagda's Cauldron, The Spear of Lugh, The Stone of Fal, and The Sword of Light. They also make an appearance in Catholicism as Brigid, one of the original Tuatha De Danann, went on to become Saint Brigid in the Catholic religion and is still celebrated to this day in Ireland.
Now that you know a little more about the Tuatha De Danann, does it make you want to take a deeper look at Gaelic mythology?

Real Vampire Graves in America

In researching my books, I come across all sorts of strange trivia, but even I was taken back by this one. It seems that in New England there are real vampire graves from the great "New England Vampire Panic" of the early 19th century. How is it that this is the first I heard about this?
In the early 19th century, an outbreak of tuberculosis swept across New England. At the time, little was known about the disease and it was believed that consumption was caused by the dead rising from the grave to consume the life of their surviving relatives. Of course, the only "logical" explanation for this was vampirism.
To protect the survivors, the bodies of those that died of tuberculosis were dug up and examined. If the corpse was unusually fresh or if the heart and organs were filled with blood, it was thought that it was feeding on the living. Once the vampire was identified, there were numerous way to remedy the problem and rid the family of the vampire including burning organs, flipping the body in the grave, decapitation, and sometimes ever dismemberment.
Newspapers in other parts of the country were skeptical of the belief in vampires. Even Thoreau weighed in on this contemporary superstition saying, "The savage in man is never quite eradicated".
The most famous instance of this panic is the Mercy Brown burial. In the final two decades of the 19th century, the family of George and Mary Brown suffered a sequence of tuberculosis related illnesses and deaths. First to die was the mother Mary and then the eldest daughter Mary Olive also died. The son, Edwin, became ill in 1890, followed in 1891 by Mercy. Mercy died in 1892 and she was promptly buried at the Baptist Church in Exeter.
Believing the illness and deaths were the cause of the dead returning to consume the lives of the living, George gave permission for the bodies to be exhumed on March 17, 1892. While the mother and first daughter suffered significant decay, Mercy was still unchanged. This was taken as a sign that she was undead and feeding off of Edwin. Her organs were removed, burned, and mixed with water that was given to Edwin to drink. There was hope that this would cure him, but alas he died two months later.
So, in the case of the New England Vampire Panic, the truth really is stranger than fiction.

Year Of The Horse in Starmerge News

The Chinese New Year of the Horse begins on January 31st. Astrologers tell us it is a Wood Horse Year.

If you were born during these dates, then you're a horse: 30/01/1930 to 16/02/1931, 15/02/1942 to 04/02/1843, 03/02/1954 to 23/01/1955, 21/01/1966 to 08/02/1967, 07/02/1978 to 27/01/1979, 27/01/1990 to 14/02/1991, 12/02/2002 to 21/01/2003

Those born in the Horse years are said to be popular, cheerful people who are fun loving and follow their instinctive intuitions. These people don't usually struggle to succeed in their ventures- they tend to attract what they want in life easily.

It is a faster paced year than the 2013 Water Snake year. Countries with emerging markets like Brazil, Egypt, and Turkey are subject to violent outburst but peaceful resolutions in 2015.

A few famous people born in the year of the Horse are: Rembrandt, Genghis Khan, Teddy Roosevelt, Clint Eastwood, Ray Charles, and Barbara Streisand

With 2 New Super-moons this month, one was on January 1st and the next on January 30th, this is a great time to plan, meditate, and manifest your goals for the months ahead.

Make The Most of It

2014 already holds record breaking weather patterns with most of the United States in a deep freeze while here in Southern California remain in drought. I am expecting these bizarre patterns to continue here and around the world as our planet is forward evolving and emitting heat, gas, smoke, vapors in the air. Hurricanes, volcanoes, earthquakes, drought, etc. are becoming more frequent than ever before. We will adapt, do what we can with what we have, and move on.

The general energy of 2014 is one of Abundance and I think there is a good probability of economic growth in the major Stock Markets. This positive change in our financial growth continues to expand into these next couple years.

One of the famous quotes of Nelson Mandela that inspires us to make the most of it this year, "Everyone can rise above their circumstances and achieve success if they are dedicated to and passionate about what they do"

Known for its beautiful rural atmosphere, Chino Hills is a growing population of approximately 82,000  , 41 parks, and about 39 miles of trails.

Along the Southern and Western borders is the Chino Hills State Park known for miles and miles of hills, valleys and wildlife. There are coyote, deer, owls, raccoon's, skunks, opossums, rabbits, reptiles, and even some mountain lions have been spotted.

I established Starmerge.Com n this magnificent city in 1999 and throughout the years it has morphed several times only to return to its original format of services in Extra Sensory Perception.

Thank you for visiting my blog and joining me in this year's festivities.
